I organized a last minute 3-day heli trip to WWHS for me myself and a couple of friends. I had been told by a friend how amazing his experience at the lodge was and so I departed for Terrace with some pretty high expectations. Well I have to say that it did live up to my expectations - and more! We loved the cozy sleeping cabins, the comfy and well appointed main lodge and all the amenities (hot tub, sauna, etc.). While food at a heli lodge is always good in my experience, the chef from Germany knocked it out of the ballpark. And the inclusion of wine at dinner plus complimentary massages was very appreciated - it's just something not offered anywhere else. But of course the great lodge and the incredibly friendly staff is just one part of a heli skiing experience. Really what we come for is great skiing in deep powder snow in awesome terrain - and White Wilderness really delivered on that. A huge thanks to our guide and Operations Manager, Ken Bibby. Can't wait to get back out and ski with Ken and his crew next Winter!
